What is BMI? (Body Mass Index)
I started my year at the doctor's office for my annual physical, its something that everyone should do to get a better idea of the condition of their perfect body. Physicals start with basic measurements such as height/weight and with that your medical profession can calculate your BMI (Body Mass Index).
Our good friends at the "Center for Disease Control" have created a handy dandy "Adult BMI Calculator" that's super easy to use, follow this link: https://www.cdc.gov/healthyweight/assessing/bmi/adult_bmi/english_bmi_calculator/bmi_calculator.html
Or, you can refer to the following chart to determine your BMI:
Once you have determined what your BMI is from the range of 10-55, you will have a better idea of what is the state of your physical health.
So for me, when I input my height and weight the results were: 28.2 which equals overweight, which gives me added motivation to change my eating habits. (Drink more perfect body tea)
